Welcome to Free Forest

This site was set up by fans of Nottingham Forest FC to give a thorough analysis of Nigel Doughty's tenure as Chairman of the club.

It should be viewed as a historical reference as of the end of season 2006-2007 - all figures are accurate to that point but have not been updated beyond that date.

Given recent events there were plans to update the site. Now Nigel Doughty has resigned as chairman we will have to see what happens next. On face value it is good news. It's a shame it's happened when we're £60m in a debt rather than £26m when we first started the site but it's better now than in another 5 years.

It was always going to be a nervous time when Doughty stepped aside but hopefully it's a step in the right direction to a more united and open football club with a clear strategy for success that we can all get behind. YOU REDS!
