If Nigel leaves who will take over?
"I
don't see Roman Abramovich leaving Chelsea to come and
take over at the City Ground!".... No, neither
do we. Nor do we know who would take over should Nigel
leave but if you don't ask you don't get. There are
people out there willing to invest in football clubs
- take Wolves for example. Would there be ZERO interest
in Nottingham Forest should it be put up for sale? I
find it hard to believe - let's find out!
This
is an appeal to any potential investors. If you are
interested in taking over a magnificent club with a
magnificent history, please register your interest!
Should you bring back even a degree of success to the
City Ground you will receive the adulation you will
surely deserve.

If not Nige then who? An in depth analysis
Recently, in sports news articles all
over the country, one uttering of an eight letter word
has sent fans of many a football club into a frenzy.
Dreams, dulled after season-upon-season of disappointment,
have been rekindled…..TAKEOVER!!
The Premiership phenomenon has seen
millionaires and indeed, billionaires flock to our shores
hoping to join the party. The clubs and now even the
names are very familiar to football fans countrywide.
Roman Abramovich at Chelsea
Eggert Magnusson at West Ham United
The Glazer family at Man Utd
Tom Hicks and George Gillett at Liverpool
Randy Lerner at Aston Villa
Other clubs are also targets in one
form or another including -
Arsenal - Stan Kroenke
Man City - Ray Ranson / Thai prime
minister Thaksin Shinawatra
Those who baulk at the £200m
price tag for a premier league club are now turning
their attentions towards clubs with premiership potential.
Requirements would include a
decent stadium/facilities and a strong fan base. Clubs
in this category include;
Southampton with interest from Paul
Allen
Coventry
City with interest from Philip Harris and
Sean McDevitt
Leicester City purchased by Milan Mandaric
Sunderland purchased by Drumaville
Consortium, led by figurehead Niall Quinn
Millwall
with interest from John G Berylson
Wolves
- Steve Morgan
Blackpool
- Valeri Belokon
Burnley
- Brendan Flood
Add to those clubs Ipswich
Town and Norwich
City where rumours are rife that bids are
imminent and it seems that the Football Club industry
is at present a sellers market.
Why then does ND claim that he does
not have potential purchasers 'knocking at his door'?
If I want to sell my house I employ
an estate agent to advertise it in the right places.
Simple!
The fans of NFFC deserve to be treated
with respect and need to feel valued.
The fans of NFFC deserve to see a For Sale board erected
at the City Ground and for a suitable purchaser to be
found. Someone who will regain the trust of the fans
and provide a framework in which the club will move
forward.
